Experienced CEO

A career telecommunications leader, Scott Widham is the CEO of Ezee Fiber where he leads a team of experienced executives to build and invest in fiber networks serving Texas government, education, medical, and residential sectors.

Prior to Ezee Fiber, Scott served as CEO of Alpheus Communications, providing telecommunications and data center services to Texas businesses and carriers.

Prior to Alpheus, Scott served as CEO of Cobridge Communications, a cable television, high-speed internet and digital telephone service provider in the central United States. Scott’s industry experience likewise includes his time as CEO of Broadwing Communications, a billion dollar fiber and data center company offering voice, data, and video services to enterprise and wholesale customers. Broadwing was acquired by Level 3 in 2008 for $1.6B. As CEO, Scott founded and helmed Capital Cable, a multi-system operator that owned cable systems across the U.S. and in Latin America before its acquisition by Charter Communications. Widham also served as EVP of Corecomm and was a Director at MTV Networks. Widham earned a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Moving from St. Louis, MO in 2011, Scott now resides in Houston, TX. He maintains his community involvement and charity work in both cities.
